There’s Good News from the battlefield ⇒ WE’VE WON! If we have faith in Jesus Christ then we have His victory too. This Good News, the Gospel, is power, God’s power. We can live out our life-giving faith. We can be about the Father’s business. We bring glad tidings, not sad or mad. Our job is to enforce the victory Jesus won for us all but we need to lay hold of it.

The Butter Frog

Can I just give you a little bit of encouragement today. Do you like butter? Butter makes everything better! When I was little when I bumped my head or crashed my bike, my grandma always got the butter out of the fridge and rubbed butter on my bump or my wound. In that ancient book of life, the Bible, in Mathew chapter 4 this true account tells of Jesus being in the wilderness for forty days and forty nights. During this time Jesus was fasting and then it says, after forty days Jesus was hungry. I think I’d be hungry too.
