Which Wolf Will Win The Fight?

The story is told of a wise Cherokee grandfather teaching his grandchildren about how to do life.  With the children gathered all around him this is what he said. 
There is a battle that rages inside of me, it’s a terrible fight between two wolves.  The black wolf represents all that is evil and cruel; fear, anger, envy, regret, greed, arrogance, guilt, shame, selfishness, self pity, resentment, depression, bitterness, lies, pride, and ego.  But the white wolf stands for all that is Godly and gentle.  The white wolf will fight for truth, hope, joy, peace, love, kindness, friendship, honesty, humility, empathy, compassion and faith.
The wise Cherokee man looked at his grandchildren with a firm stare and said, “The same fight is going on inside of you and inside of every person in the world.”  The silence from the children was testimony to the weight of what the old man had said.  But one child spoke up and asked, “Please tell us Grandfather; which wolf will win the fight?” The wise old Cherokee man paused then answered them with much wisdom, “The one you feed will win the fight!

God’s wisdom in the Holy scriptures are life to us if we read them and do them.  Philippians 4:8 gives us a plan on which wolf to feed and how to win the fight! It says this;

Finally, brothers and sisters in the faith, whatever is true, whatever is good, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable; if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things!

So here’s the question? What are you thinking about?  Which wolf are you feeding? Who do you want to win the fight that’s going on inside of you?  God’s Word is truth and Gods word is life.  God’s Word is food for the soul.
