Why Do We NEED Jesus?
The world is full of trouble, suffering, evil and death. God's Word, the Bible tells us why. It's the sin of the people. Sin is anything we say and do that opposes God's laws and ways. God is perfect, righteous and wise, we are not. Yes, we are born into sin. When the first people God created, Adam and Eve, disobeyed Him (a sin), evil and just, but devastating, consequences entered the world. Since God is perfect, our sin separates us from Him both now when we live on Earth and then forever. Can you honestly say you've NEVER done anything wrong? God's standards require perfection and rightly so.
No matter how hard we try, none of us can ever be right with God on our own. God is just and our sin, the very cause of death, must be dealt with. Here is where the Good News of Jesus comes in. God Himself solves the problem of our separation from Him. He is a good God who loves us so much and wants to be in a loving relationship with us forever, even after we die. He proved it by sending His own Son, Jesus, to die for us. That is amazing love proving God's passion for us to come to Him.
He came as a man so He knows our pain and struggles. He teaches us about God, His power, authority and much better ways. Most significantly, He took God's just punishment for us all. He died for each and every one of us so we can all be connected to God now and forever.
There's more Good News, Jesus rose again to prove God has power over death. This is a free gift He offers to all people. God has done His part, now it's up to us to respond to Him.
We all have the free will to choose because that is love. It makes it real. Jesus is coming back one day and in the future, everything will be made right. We need to be in a relationship with God through Jesus so we can be saved from His final judgement. That is why we all NEED Jesus. Please, seek Him out and choose Him today. When you do, He will reveal Himself to you and you can live your life with Him now, one full of hope.

I Believe

Making THE DECISION
... if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10 NKJV).
Accepting Jesus is the BIGGEST and BEST decision you will ever make in your life. The results are eternal. It is a personal decision you must make yourself of your own free will. No one can do it for you. It is about your relationship with the Lord, the creator of the universe.
It's a decision that will change your life. Jesus instructs us to Repent, which simply means to turn away from our sin and turn to Him, to change our mind. You are drawing a line in the sand and saying No to yourself and Yes to Jesus. He is calling you to let go of your old ways and follow Him daily. Christianity is not just a religious thing to do every Sunday, it's a transformative relationship with Jesus lived out daily, Jesus is alive.
There is no right or wrong way to pray and accept Jesus. It's about your heart. If you recognise your need for Him (refer to Why Do We Need Jesus above) and are willing to live with and for Him, call on the Lord now. Don't wait. Just speak from your heart, confess your sins (that you currently know about) and ask Him for His forgiveness. Then believe you have received it and are now made right with God (1 John 1:9).
CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to the Kingdom of God. You are now a child of the living God. Your faith journey has begun. Be sure to tell someone and Get connected to a local Bible-believing church. Keep reading below for your Next Steps.
